Smokey Hummus Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 can (250g) chickpeas

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic crushed

  • 2 tablespoons tahini

  • 1 lemon - juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Smokey paprika for sprinkling as garnish

  • Roasted pepitas and almonds as garnish

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except for the olive oil, paprika, roasted pepitas and almonds in a food processor.

  2. Blend until well combined and smooth.

  3. Pour out into your choice of serving dish.

  4. Serve with sprinkle of paprika and olive oil, and toasted nuts and seeds. 

  5. Best stored in the fridge for up to 5 days in a sealed container.

Zesty Avocado Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Squeeze of lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon garlic - crushed

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional: Chilli flakes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor.

  2. Blend until well combined and smooth.

  3. Pour out into your choice of serving dish.

  4. Best stored in the fridge for up to 5 days in a sealed container.
